April 23, 2007 - John is currently involved with piloting Grand County's first indoor soccer/sports building - a covered indoor practice facility that is heated, for youth/adult soccer and other sports.

April, 2007 - John was awarded the "Token Male - Barrel Racing 101 Award" while taking part in the training at the Lazy Heart E in Berthod, Colorado.
